The Waltham Forest Compact is a partnership agreement between Waltham Forest statutory organisations and the voluntary and community sector. It is a commitment to work together more closely and to respect each other’s rights and responsibilities.
The Compact promotes a culture of empowerment and continually improving working relations between the sectors in Waltham Forest; develops the relationship between and across sectors at all levels; and, improves communication and information flow between organisations and with the general public.

The Compact development working group consists of five umbrella organisations, namely the Volunteer Centre, BME Alliance, Race Equality Council, East London Out Project (ELOP), and Voluntary Action Waltham Forest, and the Local Strategic Partnership.
