We register births and deaths, and issue certified copies of birth, marriage and death entries. Our records go back to 1837, when civil registrations were first introduced. Please contact the Register Office if you would like more information about obtaining certified copies of entries.

Our Registrars are on hand to help you at this difficult time through the registration of a death. Our staff see all personal callers at the Register Office on arrival.

Registration of births and deaths are currently only available by appointment. Please contact the Register Office to make an appointment. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
