  • Completed application form for each Adult (and Child where applicable)
  • If applying in your own right under the five year ruling, we will need to see Passport(s) to cover the whole of the last five year period, or documentary evidence of your presence in this country, including P60s and letters from Employers, and or letters from DSS offices to show benefits paid during the whole of this period
  • If applying because you are married to or have a civil partnership with a British Citizen, we will need to see Passport(s) to cover the whole of the last three year period, or documentary evidence of your presence in this country, including P60s and letters from Employers, and or letters from DSS offices to show benefits paid during the whole of this period.
  • Knowledge of Life Certificate
  • Indefinite Leave to Remain or Indefinite Leave to Enter stamp for the last 12 months.
  • Were you in the U.K. 5(3) years prior to this application
  • Will you remain in the U.K. for the next 5 working days
  • If you are married or in a civil partnership, we shall need an original copy of your marriage certificate or civil partnership schedule and an official translation if appropriate.
  • Cheque/Postal Order or Credit or Debit Card fee for the Home Office (made payable to the Accounting Officer, Home Office)
  • Cash/Cheque with Cheque Card for nationality Checking Service
  • If the application includes children, their passport and full birth certificate (with translation is appropriate)
