The Masterplan and Interim Planning Policy Framework for Walthamstow Town Centre were approved by the Council’s Cabinet on 20 May 2008.

The Masterplan was developed in partnership with The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment and key stakeholders, including Transport for London, GLA, local land owners, businesses, residents and interest groups.

Interim Planning Policy Framework for Walthamstow

The Interim Planning Policy Framework (IPPF) for Walthamstow is the planning policy delivery mechanism for the Masterplan.  It is a non-statutory document but does have material consideration in determining planning applications and draws together key local and regional planning policies, which need to be considered when developing Walthamstow.
