The following documents provide some guidance for developers on assessing and mitigating flood risk. However, the documents were prepared using standards derived from PPG25, which has now been superceded by PPS 25. Developers are advised to check PPS25 to ensure that their proposals are capable of meeting the new requirements. A key requirement is that developers provide an analysis of the functional as part of their site specific FRA. The Environment Agency holds the data required for plotting Flood Zones 3a, b, 2 and 1, which should be plotted onto a topographic survey of the site proposed for development. Please note that the EA may charge for providing this data.
