Blackhorse Lane Traffic Management Scheme - Public Consultation

The plans for Blackhorse Lane have always included a proposal for a road linking Forest Road west of Blackhorse Road Station with Blackhorse Lane. This road would provide access to new housing developments opposite the station and reduce traffic flows through the Standard Junction (by the station) allowing us to improve the environment at the junction for pedestrians and make it easier to cross the road to and from the station.

The council is now consulting on detailed plans for the road and related changes to road layouts and traffic signals on Blackhorse Lane and Forest Road. The deadline for responses is Friday 7 November 2008.
