Between 26 January and 23 February, the ‘Our Place in London’ fun days took place in the borough’s main town centres of Chingford, Leyton, Leytonstone, and Walthamstow. These fantastic family fun days, featuring face painting and balloons for the kids, have allowed residents to enter into a 'postcards to the future' prize draw and provided them an opportunity to have their say on their hopes and ambitions for the borough’s future.
Residents have had a chance to speak to Councillors and Council staff about what they thought the borough should look like in twenty years time.
Here are some of the comments we received from residents when asked their opinion of the borough, what was important to them, and their hopes and ambitions for the future of the borough:
