Government inspectors say vulnerable adults are well protected by Waltham Forest Council and the service is getting even better.
The Commission for Social Care Inspection gave the Council a good rating for safeguarding adults with promising prospects for improvement - the only authority to be rated good during the current round of inspections.
The Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, Adults and Older People, Cllr Liz Phillips, said:
We are working hard to protect and provide high quality services to our vulnerable elderly residents and I am delighted with this inspection result.
The ruling by CSCI means that services to users have continued to improve over the past four years.
