Child and Family Consultation Service

The Child and Family Consultation Service is made up of specialist nurses, psychiatrists, social workers and psychotherapists. They offer a range of services to children and young people, up to school leaving age, and their families who are experiencing difficulties.

Please note, you cannot apply for these services directly. A referral must be made via a professional such as the family GP, health visitor, education welfare officer, social worker or teacher.

face2face offers a range of services to young people aged 11 - 21, including counselling, pregnancy testing, contraception, information and advice on sexual health, and housing advice. They also have a social worker who can offer one-to-one crisis support around relationships and family problems.

North East London Advocacy

North East London Advocacy provide an independent advocacy service for adults with learning disabilities and people with mental health problems. They specifically address health and social care issues, with onward referrals for other issues such as benefits and housing. Referrals are taken from individuals, via doctors, social workers and other professionals.
