ShopWatch
ShopWatch is delivered by the e11bid Company in partnership with Waltham Forest Council and the Metropolitan Police.
The ShopWatch scheme is a radio network that links over 40 businesses in the town centres of Leyton and Leytonstone to each individual business, manned security and to local response services. The scheme’s use of instant communication allows businesses to share and listen to incidents that are occurring enabling them to assist with greater intelligence and help each other increase security around our local area and businesses.
The network has recently been extended to cover the Bakers Arms area and there are plans to incorporate the scheme into a GSM based solution across the borough to allow local businesses greater flexibility in the fight against petty crime.
