Leytonstone Business Forum CIC
The Leytonstone Business Forum CIC (LSBF) was established in July 2004 to represent businesses in the Leytonstone Town Centre area.
The Forum's executive board meets 5-6 times a year and invites speakers to speak on strategic subjects relating to the needs of Leytonstone businesses and the key issues affecting them in the area. The forum has over 300 members and is currently celebrating the success of the e11bid, recycling for businesses and the ShopWatch scheme.
The forum also has six sub committees that meet on a regular basis:
- Traffic and Highways
- Security and Licensing
- Economic Development
- Environment and Community
- Property and Land
- Sports and Leisure
The forum takes an active role in highlighting the appeal of the shopping district locally, regionally and nationally and is an important mechanism that allows businesses to ensure they are involved in the regeneration of the area.
