Over the next few years, there will be plenty of opportunities for local schools to get involved in 2012 related projects.
The organisers of the 2012 Games are currently running three projects with schools in Waltham Forest and the other Host Boroughs.
Listed below are examples of recent projects:
Welcoming the World
Rushcroft, Willowfield and George Mitchell schools are currently involved in a film,
music and photography project. This is focused on the 2008 handover from Beijing to London and what
it means to welcome the nations of the Olympic countries to London.

Olympic Park Hoardings
Ainsllie Wood, Whitefield and Heathcote schools have created artwork to display
on a stretch of the Olympic Park site Hoardings. This is the blue wall around the Olympic Park.
