The Olympic Delivery Authority runs regular Olympic Park coach tours for residents of the five host boroughs of the Games: Waltham Forest, Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Greenwich. We have exclusive opportunities for Waltham Forest residents to tour the Olympic Park.
The tours depart from Stratford Regional Station, and give local residents the chance to view the exciting transformation of the area and the locations of the main stadiums. There is also the opportunity to see what progress has been made on the Eton Manor site in Leyton and to find out the latest developments on the rest of the Olympic Park site. All tours last approximately an hour.
How to book
The next visits available solely for Waltham Forest residents are scheduled for the following dates:
Daytime dates (2pm start)
Friday 21 November 2008
Friday 9 January 2009
Friday 13 February 2009
Friday 20 March 2009
Due to limited spaces, please register your interest in the above tour dates above by contacting us by email Waltham Forest 2012 Team or call 020 8496 6744 and leave your name, address, phone number and preferred date and one of the team will get back to you.
Coming soon we'll have information on London Open House weekend 21 and 22 September where the Olympic Delivery Authority hope to give around 2000 people the opportunity to visit the Olympic Park leaving from the SCORE centre in Leyton.
Security and restrictions
There is strict security in place, and all guests will need to provide photographic ID in the form of a passport or a valid driver’s licence. For safety reasons, all visits have an age restriction of 8 years old.
