In the lead up to the 2012 Games we will be organising lots of exciting events and conferences to involve local people in the opportunities presented by the Games and to celebrate our role as one of the host boroughs of the Games.

See the maps of the Olympic Park, find out about jobs on the Olympic Park site from Worknet 2012, take part in sporting activity and communicate what you think about the 2012 Games coming to the area!

At the Green Fair on 20 July residents will also have the chance to input into the design of the Olympic Park after the Games, filming pieces to camera on the future of the Olympic Park, looking at the interactive models and talking to the people designing the Park.

Global voices day - Olympic handover event

Olympic hand over celebration when London becomes the official host city of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Headliners include London Gospel Community Choir and Katherine Tickell.

Regular Olympic Park Tours

Waltham Forest residents will have exclusive opportunities to go on coach tours of the Olympic Park run by the Olympic Delivery Authority.
