Tackling anti-social behaviour together

The Council, the police and local agencies across the borough all work together to share information and take action to stop anti-social behaviour.

Anti-social behaviour is any aggressive, intimidating or destructive activity that doesn’t just make life unpleasant. It can ruin lives and make areas feel unsafe for individuals, families and communities.

Examples of anti-social behaviour includes:

  • Young people hanging around and causing problems
  • People using or dealing drugs
  • People begging aggressively and being drunk or rowdy in public places
  • Reckless or dangerous riding of motorbikes and scooters
  • Aggressive begging and street drinking

The Council recognises that anti-social behaviour is a serious problem and we take complaints of anti-social behaviour seriously and in strict confidence. Our anti-social behaviour caseworker will support you throughout the process.
