Adopting a child

There are many children who need adoptive parents, as it is not possible for their birth parents to raise them. In Waltham Forest we have children of different ages, from many different backgrounds, culture and religions and we need families to reflect this.

For more information call Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000 and ask for our adoption information pack or visit our adoption pages for more details.

Being a foster carer

Can you give a child a home? It doesn't have to be a wealthy one. You don't even have to own it. It doesn't matter if you're married or not or if you are a parent already. What does matter, whatever your age or circumstances, is that you can provide a home that's loving, supportive and safe.

For more information call the Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000 and ask for our fostering information pack or visit our fostering pages for more details.
