Voluntary sector grants
Waltham Forest Council recognises that there many activities which benefit residents that the voluntary and community sector (VCS) does expertly. In 2011-2012 we are investing over £5 million in voluntary and community organisations through commissioning of services and grants to the sector.
Please note the Voluntary Sector Grants deadline has now passed.
Information regarding future funding will be available from this page of the website. For more information or to be placed on a mailing list about these grants, please contact Jo Edler on Joanna.Edler@walthamforest.gov.uk or 020 8496 4168.
The three panels for 2012-2013 have been held - in July 2012, October 2012 and February 2013 which have awarded a total of 29 projects. To view a list and summary of each project click here. Contracts with the Council
ProContract - Essential information for future contracts
The Council has implemented an e-tendering system ‘ProContract ‘ and joined the London Tenders Portal. At present, not all LBWF requirements are going through the system, but within a few months it will be mandatory for Council officers to put all quotes and tenders via this route. In order to bid for contracts organisations must be registered with ProContract. This is a simple process that should not take long to complete.
For more information, visit the Doing business with the Council web page.
