Councils Standing conditions of order

Last updated 26 September 2012

The council has a standard set of terms and conditions of contract that it uses for the majority of contracts that it lets.

Any amendments or additions to the clauses will be incorporated in a separate schedule as part of the suite of documents that form the quote/tender.

The terms and conditions used for goods and services contracts are:

Low value terms and conditions

These can be used for all contracts up to £50K.

Intermediate value terms and conditions

These can be used for all contracts between £50k and up to the EU threshold.

High value terms and conditions

These must be used for all contracts above the EU threshold.

The use of the terms and conditions are in line with the thresholds in the Councils contract procedure rules and in the EU Procurement Regulations. These can be found in the Council's constitution.
