Community ward forums

Last updated 4 April 2013

Community Ward Forums are held in all 20 wards of the borough. Each ward holds at least three forums a year. Some wards choose to hold meetings together with another adjacent ward.

The meetings are open to individual residents, community groups and business representatives who want to help shape and improve their neighbourhood. This is an opportunity for local people to get together, meet their ward councillors and discuss important issues affecting their area.

Each ward has £10,000 to spend annually on local initiatives. Community Ward Forums should discuss how this money would be spent at, at least one ward forum during the year. For more details about ward funding, visit Community ward funding.

Dates and venues for ward meetings are published on the What’s on page of our website and in Waltham Forest News.
