Help us ride the 11682 miles from Waltham Forest to New Zealand and receive a free guest pass for use at any Better leisure centres in Waltham Forest
Static bikes are located at 6 of our libraries. Just pop in, jump on the bike, cycle as far as you can on 60 in seconds, then record your distance on the record sheet.
Enter as many times as you like to help your library take the gold, silver or bronze medal. It’s simple!
Look out for weekly updates of the total distance cycled at your local library. Final results will be announced on 11th September.
Everyone who participates in the challenge will receive a free guest pass worth £10.00 which can be redeemed against any sporting activity including the gym, swimming or racket sport and Better leisure centres.

Complete a basic fitness test; get advice on the type of exercise that’s best for you or healthy eating habits. Undertake the New Zealand Challenge at the same time for a chance to win fitness goodies.
Then visit the healthy living point within each library to pick up ideas, information and books on wellbeing, sports, fitness and healthy eating.
