Post Games Controlled Parking Zone consultation
25 September 2012 in Waltham Forest News and Consultation
The Temporary Olympic Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) finished on 9 September 2012.
This temporary scheme would have offered residents and businesses experience of having a CPZ in their area - we are therefore undertaking preliminary consultation to understand the level of support there is for continuing the scheme on a permanent basis.
The preliminary consultation is a stage in the process for gathering views, if there is support for the scheme in some areas then we would only carry out full consultation in these specific locations. The questionnaire will be posted to all addresses within the CPZ catchment on the week beginning 24 September 2012, and residents have the chance to respond within the consultation period up until 22 October 2012.
Once we have received all the responses, these are analysed and assessed on a location basis with full consultation carried out where there is demand. Residents and businesses should note that there is only one count for each property.
