Leader of the Council
Welcome to my web page. My name’s Chris Robbins, and I’m the Leader of Waltham Forest Council.
In a nutshell, I see it as my job to fight Waltham Forest’s corner and make the borough a better place.
This means leading on policy decisions, working alongside our partners in the police and health sector and liaising directly with central government to get a better deal for our residents and our borough.
The idea of these pages is to help shed some light on my role and explain what I’m doing to make Waltham Forest a better place in which to live, work and study. I hope you find them useful.

My priorities are based on what you’ve said matters most to you.
As a result, we’re focusing on:
- Cleaner streets
- Community safety
- Helping you and you family
- Regenerating Waltham Forest

Invite me to an event
Being actively involved in the community is very important to me, and I’m always keen to attend local events and hear about what residents are doing.
If you’d like to invite me to an event you’re hosting, please get in touch and I’ll attend if at all possible.
